I am a bowl of noodles...

I love noodles. I really do. Had ramen this morning and had pho for lunch...mmmmmmmm noodles. Pasta for dinner perhaps? I hope my poop isn't one big noodle...

I was chattin w/ a friend yesterday...
chat buddy (11:34:19 AM): guess what this girl said to me today
chat buddy (11:34:41 AM): "Hey chat buddy, I love your top. Where did you get it? Target?"
chat buddy (11:34:58 AM): And I reply, "Um... thanks. Banana Republic"
chat buddy (11:36:38 AM): and she says, "oh well they were selling the cheaper versions at Target"

liljayster78 (11:46:36 AM): right, so either she was trying to save you money and didn't approach it the right way, or she was being a bitch and trying to insult you. It's either one or the other really...funny how the approach can muddle it all up.

I generally perceive myself as a positive person. But even I would've been taken back initially by that comment. Communication is so complex sometimes....even in simple statements, there's a lot to read between the lines. It's like playing a real live game of poker, w/o the cards...is this person bluffing? I wish we were more trusting as a whole.... And it's all about what you say and how you say it...sheesh.
